What We Do.
SolFestFM Broadcasts live festival radio to a limited radius around the festival site. This broadcast is intended to be made onsite with very little in the way of pre-made or pre-recorded content. SolFestFM's Roving Reporters bring the spirit of both the bands and of the festival goers right back to the broadcast unit. Thr Roving Reporters then have their reorts edited and broadcast with hours of recording. Some interviews dont need editing but we all sound better for a few errms chopping out now and again!

Our Roving Reports bring small cameos of the festival to life. We love the way that each person at the festival has their own unique story and perspective on the festivals events.
SolFestFM on site
SolFestFM provides an excellent way of bringing the local community to the festival . Although SolFest has a special relationship with the local villages, not everyone can get to the festival. SolFestFM provides a way for all the people at the festical and those in the local area [and irish sea!] to listen to the Festival in the comfort of their tents when they're cooking, cleaning or putting the children to bed, or in the comfort of their own armchairs at home.
Live Session Tent SolFestFM is fortunate in being able to bring musicians from amny disciplines together in some unique sessions in the session tent. Some of these happen due to the inevitable technical glitches that occassionally accompany a live broadcast - quick do SOMTHING! but we also love to organise late night sessions with musicians who drop in and drop out. 
Exclusive Musician interviews. We are fortunate because we aren't a major radio station or the BBC. Because of the way we like to operate our broadcasts - keeping it honest real and LIVE as much as possible we are able to get some delightfully honest interviews from Bands and Artists who maybe would be reluctant to go mainstream.
